An engraver and painter Michele Bisi studied engraving under Francesco Rosaspina and Giuseppe Longhi. He was an highly skilled reproductive engraver, his most celebrated work being the 'Pinacoteca del Palazzo Reale delle Scienze e delle Arti di Milano'.
