GIACOMO CAMPI (Milan 1846 - 1921) A GENTLEMAN AND TWO YOUNG WOMEN AT THE DOOR OF A HOUSE
|
A pupil of Enrico Scuri at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, Campi worked in Rome and in the Vatican, together with Francesco Podesti. In 1870 he moved to Milan, where he opened his own studio. His paintings are in many noble residences in Milan and surroundings, but he worked also in other main Italian towns and abroad. |
