Cavenaghi studied at the Brera Academy, under Bertini. He worked mainly as a restorer of paintings by Old Masters, his most famous work in this field being the restoration of the 'Cenacolo' by Leonardo, between 1901 and 1908. As a painter, Luigi Cavenaghi worked in the Church of San Babila in Milan and in the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Fonte in Caravaggio. |
