ERCOLE DREI (Faenza 1886 - Rome 1973) HEAD OF A WOMAN
Terracotta; signed 'Drei'; 34,5 x 21,5 x 24,5 cm, on a wooden base.

A sculptor, Ercole Drei studied in Faenza and in Florence under Augusto Rivalta. He moved to Rome in 1913, and there he lived and worked during all his life, becoming one of the most representative artist of the so-called 'Scuola Romana'.
