PROVENANCE: Bonamici (possibly Diomede Bonamici); Anna Franchi (1867-1954), her inscription on the verso 'Collezione Bonamici / Anna Franchi'. Minor defects. Taught at the Florentine Accademia, Panerai was, then, a pupil of Giovanni Fattori. In 1888 he became a professor at the Bolognese Accademia. He exhibited in Paris in 1889, at the Exposition Universelle. |
