A pupil, in Florence, of the painter Aldo Carpi and of the sculptor Libero Andreotti, Bartolini obtained, in 1934, the chair of figure drawing at the Art School in the Brera and moved to Milan. He participated in the Venice Biennale in the years 1936, 1938 and 1940 and participated also, in the following years, in major national exhibitions, as the Roman Quadrennial (1947), the Michetti Prize (1947-48) and the National Exhibition of Sacred Art (1954). He ordered his last solo exhibition in 1974, at the Milanese 'Galleria Ponte Rosso'. |
