Pen and brown ink, brown wash, over traces in black chalk: 185 x 254 mm. Inscribed in pencil by a modern hand 'Ventura Salimbeni / Vedi disegno nella Galleria / Uffizi Firenze' PROVENANCE: Dubini-Hoepli; Finarte, Milan, 1974, Catalogue 194, lot 93, illustrated tav. XXV, as Ventura Salimbeni. In the Finarte catalogue the drawing was also described as coming from Santo Varni collection.
