Michela De Vito, originally from Abruzzo, worked in Naples and became a renowned artist. She was perhaps the daughter or sister of Camillo de Vito. A painter renowned primarily for her gouaches depicting views and scenes of everyday life, she created numerous watercolors depicting popular figures from various regions of Italy.
